I moved into a defensive position, gritting my beak. "What do you want?"

"I just want to talk." The Spinda said nonchalantly. He continued to stroke his knife with an air of dignity around him.

"About what? The fact you rape and kill innocent Pokemon?" I hissed, bobbing my tail up and down.

"Now now, Ruffled..." He rolled his eyes. "I am a gentleman. I do not rape! I leave that for my subjects!"

"What do you want with me?" I asked, still looking at him cautiously.

"I saw your display of anger. It impressed me. It reminded me a little of myself." He looked at his knife thoughtfully. "Me in a younger age maybe. Your rage has...killed you. You see that body over there?" He pointed to Dreeth, "He was a higher up. He may not have been respected, but he will be missed."

"It was an accident! I was angry! I lost control!" I said, feeling finally coming back to my body. "I am a murderer!"

"Yes, my love...yes you are." He moved closer to me, stroking my wings. "Do you know what happens to murderers here? Slaughtered! Isn't that ironic?" He gave me another grin, smelling my feathers. "But, there is hope! I live here, you might have noticed, without any repercussions! I am something of an urban legend here. Everyone fears me because I live in the shadows. I live underground."

I was confused. Rightfully so. "What has that got to do with anything?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"My sweet, the simple fact is this. I know how to escape their ways. They fear me. They let me live because they know how unpredictable I am." He gave me a look. "You can disapear. You can be another of my victims to them. But you can live...if you live under my orders. Choose to spit in my face, and I will show you how I became a legend. Understand?"

I nodded.

"Do you submit to me?" He raised his eyebrows.

"I submit to you." I said, looking into his yellow eyes.

"Good." He said. "Follow me." He grabbed some of the dirt wall, and suddenly we found ourselves in the wall itself. He grinned at my confusion. "I see you have yet to learn of the ghost type, my sweet. Nevermind, you will learn of them soon." He then lead me down this new tunnel, a strange winding one that seemed to be parallel to the tunnels we were just in. I saw Pokemon rushing back and forth, holding stretchers and strange needles.

"They will know it was me." I said.

"Not anymore." Adam nodded.

"What about Seedeth?" I asked, "And Lish?"
"You will be just another victim to the great Adam. Believe me, I have got out of tighter spots. I suddenly saw a strange creature, one that I can't remember anymore. The creature vanished from my memory as soon as I looked away from it, but I would soon learn that they were working for my new master. We soon reached what seemed to be a door, a dark door with a jewel on it. Adam placed his paw over the jewel, and the door slid open.

"Ruffled?" Shi exclaimed, "I never expected you to be here!"

Adam looked at us with amusement. "She is not food, bird eater."

Shi shrank a little from Adam at his words. "Yes sir." She said, her ears flat.

"I got Shi before I got you. Just before, really." Adam chuckled. "Maybe you can work together."

I looked at the Sneasel with the kindest look I could give her. Shi just snorted.

There was another Pokemon in the room as well. A strange shimmery form that looked like a strange black doll. Her red eyes looked at us, and she opened her zipper to speak.

"I am Vengeance." She said, her voice sounding raspy and mad. "I can't remember my name, so that is what Adam has called me."

"Nice to meet you." I said nervously.

"Right!" Adam said, walking up to a desk. "You know why you are here? I saved you from your anger. Nothing more needs to be said by how much you owe me. But, I am a kind soul. You will only need to do one task a day." He flipped through sheets of paper on the desk. "You probably don't know this, but I clean out that hell hole." He gave us each a sheet of paper. "These undesirables need cleansing." He placed the knife close to his neck. "But you just need to capture them. With these." He held out some strange red and white balls. "Catch them in the Pokeballs, and send them to me."

"How do we get out of here?" I asked.

"I forgot about you." Adam sighed. He moved towards me, his stance somewhat threatening. I moved back, and suddenly he grabbed my wing. His knife slashed against my wing, sending blood flying. Before I could react, he blew some strange powder into my wing. I suddenly felt strange and floaty for a few seconds, and suddenly returned to the ground with a crash. "You are going to have to stay with me then. Pity." He sighed, turning away. "You will help with me until your wound heals. Then you will be able to go through walls." He walked off down a tunnel. "Follow me," He said, pointing a stubby arm in my direction, "The rest of you, get to work."

I followed Adam down the tunnel, a dark and damp tunnel that smelled horrible. He then tapped another door, and then opened it to reveal what was later called the killing floor.

I threw up when I entered. Pokemon held by vices screamed in pain as Pokemon used their attacks to hurt them. The smell and sight of blood was everywhere, even on the ceiling. The Pokemon worked calmly on, bashing away with hammers and other things. Adam turned towards me, concern in his eyes.

"Something wrong, beautiful murderer?" He asked.

"I can't do this. I have to decline..." I said, turning away.

"You know the cost of declining?" Adam said, his voice strained.

"No, but I don't want to be a torturer." I said, walking away.

Adam suddenly grabbed me with a grip so strong I almost passed out. He grabbed a needle and jammed it in me. My vision turned fuzzy after a few seconds, and soon my vision faded to black.

I woke up in a cage. A cage in the open. I breathed a sigh of relief, not realising how strange it was to be in the house of the human who once caught me. I looked around at my toys and food, eating away happily. Suddenly, the bars of the cage became red hot. I tried to move away, but the cage was getting smaller and smaller. I screamed as the cage burned against my wings, the smell of burning flesh and feathers filling the air.

Suddenly, I was in Seedeth's bedroom. I was chained to the foot of the bed, and my wings seemed to be clipped or disabled in some way. Seedeth walked past me, my tail wagging out of habit.

"Master!" I cried in happiness. But I then saw the green body of Dreeth moving onto the bed with her.

I closed my eyes before I could see what was happening. I heard it all though, the pleasured moans and screams filled my brain and drove me to tears.

I woke up, properly this time, tied up to one of the vices that the victims had been put in. It was dark, and I couldn't see at all.

"Leave her there for a few days, then begin." I heard Adam's voice mutter.

"Ok sir." Said a resigned voice.

I waited in the darkness, thinking about what had gone wrong with my life. I knew I was going to die, and felt so helpless and useless. I sighed, wriggling my tail to try and get comfortable. Suddenly, I felt my tail move through the part of the vice that was holding me in place. I grinned, remembering Adam's strange powder. I fell through the vice with a thump, still hearing the cries of several Pokemon. I walked up to one, an Azumarill who seemed to have a foot missing. They looked at me with fear, staring at me as I walked past them.

"End this game, Chatot." They whispered. "End my life."

I trembled, suddenly finding a knife in my beak. I closed my eyes and jammed it into the Azumarill's throat, hearing faint cries of happiness over gurgles. It strangely felt good. I opened my eyes and looked around at the other Pokemon. They all needed to leave this world, for their own good. And soon, one by one, I took their lives. I can't remember much of what I did, but it got easier each time I did it. And yet, I still felt sick. I soon found myself walking to another vice, one that seemed to be the last one. My eyes widened in shock at the sight of who it seemed to be.

It was a Buneary. Not just any Buneary, mind you, but one with pink fur instead of white. The Pokemon seemed to be unharmed, except for a few slashes on her shoulders. Her eyes were wide and quivering at me.

"Don't." She said, glowing pink. "I will resist you. I have my love to protect me from the likes of you."

"Love..." I muttered. " I wish I knew what that meant. I'm not here to kill you, I realised you are a Buneary. Do you know a guy called Rick?"

"Rick?" Her eyes bulged. "What have you done with him? I will kill you if you have hurt him!"

I shook my head. "He is looking for you." I moved to the vice, noticing some form of clip system, and undid the chains. "He is...was...a friend of mine...sorta."

"I am his girlfriend, Sweetie." Sweetie rubbed her wrists and hugged me. "Thank you!" She gave a little giggle and ruffled her fur. "But...how do we get out of here?"

"Follow me." I said, grabbing a dirt wall. I recalled the feelings of helplessness, and suddenly we found ourselves inside the dirt wall. I followed the wall for some time, until I reached the closest point to the tunnels of The Warm Place. I then threw myself forward, falling into what seemed to be Seedeth's room, with Sweetie falling behind me.

"What in blazes..." Rick started, turning around. As soon as he turned around, his voice stopped. Sweetie brushed herself off, and looked at Rick. The two stared for what seemed like a million years until they walked to each other and collapsed on each other.

"Ruffled, you may be just a servant...but you are brilliant." Rick sobbed, looking at me with glee. "We thought you were dead, and now you do this and..."

"I have to get out of here!" I shouted, "Adam is after me and had your girl! I am in trouble." My tail quivered as fast as it could go.

"There you are!" Shi grinned. "Seedeth is looking for you, Ruffled. Why don't you come with me..."

"Ok." Rick smiled. "Though I am confused. You were supposed to be dead too."

"Come with me." Shi said, waving a clawed paw, "Let's get this over with."

"I am not coming with her." I said, turning away. "She works for Adam and doesn't like me that much anyway."

"Oh Ruffled, don't you know I escaped too?" Shi looked at me with a confused look on her face.

"There she is! I knew it was a lie when they said she was dead!" Lish growled, suddenly pushing past Shi. The cat fell over, falling to the ground with a thump.

"I knew you were hiding! No hypnotic suggestion can stop me from knowing what happened!" Lish growled, pushing Rick and Sweetie aside. "You are a murderer! And I am bringing you to justice!"

Suddenly, the dirt from above crumbled down. Three Excadrill smiled down on us, while several Pokemon jumped down from the holes. One of them was Jason, looking determined.

"Thank you Lish!" He said. "Now...for my real mission!" He then tore off down into Seedeth's bed chambers. There was a sudden scream as Seedeth was awakened from her bed.

"No! I have a child!" She screamed as the Absol trotted in with the Aipom held firmly in his jaws.

One of the Excadrill cackled and jumped down, drilling into the dirt walls everwhere. Suddenly, Adam jumped out of the walls like a strange picture.

"Shit!" Rick cried, holding Sweetie close, and then suddenly reaching into his shell for what seemed to be some sort of gun.

"Put that down, sweetheart." Adam grinned. "I own this place, and when I see it falling apart, it makes me so sad." Dozens of Pokemon walked from behind him. "The undesirables must be terminated!" He cried, his servants leaping from the wall like paint escaping a piece of paper.
It was so sudden, I couldn't even see what was happening. Shi leapt forward, her claws suddenly piercing my wing. I screamed as the action happened all around me, all I could see was a blur of action as Pokemon fought Pokemon in battles that spat blood. I started feeling dizzy, from blood loss or shock, I do not know. All I knew is that I needed to get out of here, fast.

Jason gave a whistle, and suddenly I was grabbed by the Slowpoke. For a small Pokemon, she was very strong, and suddenly I found myself leaving The Warm Place, and the darkness that it had sown into my mind.
Leaving The Warm Place

Yeah. I didn't want it to end up like cupcakes (honestly don't read cupcakes) so I went a different route.

Pretty powerful stuff, but just as good as always.
